How To Make A Gravity Bong. Put yourself in the position of removing the cap from a Coke bottle that has already been filled with marijuana smoke and inhaling the entire contents. A gravity bong is a particular style of bong that is notorious for delivering users the same high as a potent bong hit with a lot less weed and effort. Not to mention that it was made from materials found around the house.
Cannabis smokers have always chosen gravity bongs because they provide strong hits at the expense of small amounts of bud. Continue reading to learn how to make a gravity bong so you can go stoned to hell without using up your entire supply.
A Gravity Bong: What Is It?
One potent dose of mind-blowing terpenes and cannabinoids from your marijuana is delivered to your lungs by a gravity bong, which, as its name suggests, uses the laws of gravity to extract every last bit of them. A gravity bong is a great way to get high when you’re low on cannabis or for big group sessions because it can get at least two (maybe even three) seasoned stoners fairly toasted.
The two different types of gravity bongs are the bucket bong and the waterfall bong, which we’ll discuss in more detail below. How To Do Vape Tricks
What Principles Underlie a Gravity Bong?
Gravity bongs are homemade smoking devices that employ gravity and air pressure to deliver powerful hits of highly concentrated smoke directly to your lungs. Typically, a plastic bottle with a homemade bowl on top is submerged in a larger body of water, such as a bucket or another large bottle. In order to create a vacuum that draws a lot of air through the bowl and fills the bottle with a lot of concentrated smoke, you slowly remove the bottle from the water as you light the marijuana.
The bowl should then be removed, your lips should be on the bottle’s top, and you should slowly re-submerge it in the water so that the same vacuum will draw the smoke into your lungs and send you soaring. How to Make a Gravity Bong in the Bucket Bong Style
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- scissors or a box cutter
- Aluminum foil
- two plastic bottles of various sizes
Cut off the bottom of the smaller bottle if your homemade gravity bong is bucket-style. More smoke may be held in this top chamber the bigger it is.
Make a cut in the larger bottle so that all that remains is a plastic “bucket” Now, add enough water to the bucket so that the smaller bottle is mostly immersed, but not so much that the water level exceeds the last, let’s say, 4 cm.
Next, make a tiny bowl out of aluminum foil by taking portion of it. The issue here is that the burning marijuana must be ABOVE the plastic, because you don’t want to breathe in any of its degassings! You might need to try once or twice more, but we promise it will be worth it. To ensure adequate airflow, poke three to four tiny holes in the bottom of the foil dish (without shredding it). Should there be any extra foil, cut it off. Keep in mind that you will need to remove the bowl later in order to take the toke, so make sure it is as easy to remove as possible while still being completely sealed off.
This process calls for some caution and care. The highest portion of the smaller bottle should remain safely above water when you submerge it in the larger bucket container.
Place your bowl on top of the little bottle’s upper aperture after filling it with the proper quantity of cannabis.
It’s time to ignite the marijuana now. Pull the tiny bottle slowly upwards while holding a flame next to your weed while you watch it fill with smoke. Once the bottle is entirely filled, remove your bowl with extreme caution and cover the opening with your mouth. Reintroduce the smaller container into the liquid gradually. The smoke will be forced deep into your lungs as the water pours back into the bottle. LSD vs Psilocybin Mushrooms & Cannabis
There you have it, then!
WORKINGS OF WATERFALL BONGS
The idea behind waterfalls is the same, except that just one sizable plastic bottle is needed, and in contrast to bucket bongs, the smoke is produced by gravity. The feeling of the waterfall spares your lungs the strain of lighting up the bong, but clearing it is up to you, my friend.
How to Make a Waterfall-Style Gravity Bong
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- scissors or a box cutter
- Foil and one large plastic bottle
The “waterfall” only needs one sizable 2-liter bottle, unlike the bucket gravity bong. Create a basin out of aluminum foil like before. Make three holes in the bowl’s base to promote airflow. Weed the bowl to the top and set it aside.
Create a little, finger-sized carb hole on the lower part of the bottle with your sharp tool now.
Fill your bottle with water, leaving a few centimeters at the top, while firmly closing the carb hole. The key in this situation is to maintain pressure on the carb hole until you are prepared to light up.
The entire contents of the bottle of water are ready to fall out, so make sure you’re somewhere that can get soaked. Attach your marijuana-filled bowl to the opening of the bottle. Release the carb hole now, and light the bowl as water pours out. Your bowl’s smoke will be pulled into the bottle and filled as we pour the water out. Put your finger back over the carb hole as soon as the water is totally gone to stop the smoke from escaping.
Finally, the smoke is ready for inhalation. Start by unscrewing the bowl top and sucking in. The smoke will be drawn into your lungs by the suction when you let go of the carb hole. Get ready, it’s going to be a big hit!
Not that challenging after all!
How Safe Are Gravity Bongs?
Hits from gravity bongs are exceptionally powerful and concentrated. Although they are eventually safe (because pot isn’t harmful, after all). We do advise you to use caution the first time you smoke one. Be careful if you have a poor tolerance or are new to or unfamiliar with marijuana, because seasoned stoners have specifically created this handmade smoking technique to get incredibly blazed almost immediately.
