How to Focus Without Needing Caffeine All Day? Try Mushrooms for Focus Support

Welcome back to our Blog! If you are a first timer, we are excited you have stumbled upon our page. This post is going to discuss how to amp up your brain power with the help of lifestyle changes, diet, and mushrooms for focus support. Whether it’s at work, or during at-home projects, we could all use a bit more brain power and energy to complete the tasks at hand.

Many of us work an eight hour day and still have things we need to take care of and would like to do afterwards. Ever feel like you’ve used up all of the mental energy you have during work? Maybe you feel like you don’t even have enough brain power to get you through those eight hours? Wondering how you might be able to put 100% effort into all areas of your life? Mushrooms for focus support may support your health and wellbeing.

Imagine being able to focus throughout the work day and still have the cognitive capacity to come home and finish your school work, read that book you’ve been trying to finish, or plan the next big adventure you’d like to go on. It’s possible with small adjustments and support from potent herbal supplements. Keep reading to get our recommendations of mushrooms for focus support and our tips for supporting mental clarity!

1. Get Active

It’s summer! Go on that camping trip you’ve been putting off, and take a hike. Last week we hiked up to a beautiful waterfall, looking for mushrooms along the way. We stimulated our senses with fresh air, natural sights and the warmth of the sun. What did we take before this hike? Cordyceps, of course! Helping us to take in deep breaths and fill our lungs.  tinctured cordyceps. Interested in more info on cordyceps? Read this blog post! Or click below to listen to a couple of podcasts we have created that dive deeper into this wonderful mushroom ally.

2. Relaxation support!

Although we’ve been told we only need eight hours of sleep, let your body make the decisions on this one. Are you feeling exhausted, sleeping past your alarm? Are your eyes closing during inconvenient times? Get to bed a little earlier, or get that extra necessary hour on the weekend. Our Reishi Tincture is great for supporting relaxation and a natural transition to sleep. Let it soothe you before bed or for a nice relaxing bath.

3. Support Occasional Stress Levels

Identify your top three to five occasional stressors. What emotion do they produce? Come up with a way to get to know how this occasional stress feels in your body, then determine the best way to change the negative into positive. Our herbalist found this exercise to be helpful and she was able to intentionally support her bodies natural stress response by making small changes to her day. She now mindfully acknowledges those daily stressors by being aware of reactions in her mind and body and interrupting the pattern.

4. Drink Water!

Pretty self-explanatory — instead of drinking a glass of sugary juice or adrenal-taxing coffee, supplement with water. If you are looking for something to add in, we have a Daily 10 tincture that mixes great with water and smoothies, as well as other foods and can bring more nourishment to your day.

5. Neurobics

Aerobics for your brain! Change up the way you do something that you don’t need to think about everyday. For example, tie your shoes with one hand, or text with your non-dominant hand. Change your habits so that your brain can form the new neurons to adapt, helping you to stay engaged and stimulated.

6. Feed Your Brain!

This comes down to a balanced diet paired with herbs and mushrooms for focus. Incorporate vegetables, protein, good fats, and of course, the occasional carb/sweet can be okay in moderation. Include those B vitamins in your diet, or try to supplement them, especially B12, which is associated with brain health. Try out a new cookbook that encourages experimentation with cooking spices to get your gut (also known as your second brain) kicked into gear as well.

7. Use Mushrooms for Focus Support!
