Abbreviation “WTO” is like someone saying, “What’s up?” Or “How is it going?” It’s a way of inquiring about what you’re current up to (what you’re up to, what you’re involved with, or what your plans are). It is not referred to substance use or other things of that nature.
For example, someone might say, “Hey James, WYO! Let’s get together later, okay!?” In this way, the friend is asking James: let’s do something.
Intention: By adding “WYO” the friend is able to make the conversation a little more inviting and friendly. In addition, it makes it sound more exciting!
“I’m going to be hanging out with my friends later. Why? WYO?”
Emotion: Inquisitive
Intention: Used at the end of a sentence as a way of asking a question. By having a question mark with it the person can start a thread or conversation with them.
